Cislo & Thomas Can't Nix Malpractice Suit Over Sunbeam Deal

Law360, New York (May 10, 2012, 6:23 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday largely declined to toss a malpractice suit brought by Homeland Housewares LLC against law firm Cislo & Thomas LLP over a patent infringement suit brought by Sunbeam Products Inc., finding a malpractice claim can proceed on a “better settlement” theory.
