Boston Office Building Nets $40M In City's Booming Market

Law360, New York (May 10, 2012, 6:15 PM EDT) -- An unnamed foreign investor has scooped up more than 44,000 square feet of prime real estate in downtown Boston in a $40 million deal for One Faneuil Hall, according to a Wednesday announcement.

Faneuil Hall Square LLC sold the eight-story, 44,287-square-foot retail and office building fully leased, according to a May 9 statement from Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., whose capital markets team brokered the sale.

Clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch Co. occupies nearly 18,600 square feet, including the ground floor, with the EC Boston Language Center...
