More Delays In Congoleum's Ch. 11 Proceedings

Law360 (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has pushed back an important hearing in Congoleum Corp.'s bankruptcy proceedings, further delaying the flooring company in its efforts to exit from bankruptcy this year.

U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Kathryn C. Ferguson has rescheduled a hearing on a rival reorganization plan proposed by attorney's representing clients who have been exposed to asbestos in the firm's products.

The hearing has been pushed back to Nov. 8th. It was originally scheduled for last Thursday.

That delay is yet another roadblock to the company's push to emerge...
