Freight Co. Settles EEOC's 'Old Farts' Firings Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (May 11, 2012, 8:37 PM EDT) -- Delivery company Central Freight Lines Inc. has settled a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit claiming its manager subjected older dockworkers to insults like “grandpa” and “old farts,” then fired them for their age, the agency announced Thursday.
