MIT Sues Funai Over 4 HDTV Patents

Law360, New York (May 21, 2012, 2:29 PM EDT) -- The Massachusetts Institute of Technology hit Funai Electric Company Ltd. with an infringement lawsuit on Friday that said the Japanese company's Philips- and Magnavox-branded televisions had ripped off four of the school's patents.
