Ex-Kaplan Employee's FCA Suit Survives Dismissal Bid

Law360, New York (May 21, 2012, 6:20 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Monday refused to toss an ex-Kaplan University employee's remaining claims in a long-running False Claims Act suit accusing Kaplan of fraudulently obtaining federal funding by falsely certifying that it was in compliance with the Higher Education Act.
