Ex-DLA Piper Lawyer Warned In Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (September 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court judge has given a former DLA Piper attorney one more chance to take a psychiatric exam and threatened to chuck her discrimination lawsuit against the firm if she does not show up.

Charlene Morisseau, a black former attorney for the firm, lost her bid for a protective order setting more definite parameters for the psychiatric testing that she has repeatedly resisted.

Morisseau will have to undergo a psychiatric exam by Oct. 8 or risk losing her case.
