Lilly ICOS Targets Online Cialis Sales With ITC Complaint

Law360, New York (May 11, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Lilly ICOS LLC has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission against several internet-based companies offering imported generic versions of the impotence drug Cialis via mail order.

The sites are selling unlicensed Cialis in violation of patent law, according to the joint venture between Eli Lilly and Co. Ltd. and Icos Corp.

The complaint names 10 companies, including Pharmacy4us of New York, Expressgeneric of Bangalore, India and Allpills.us of Beverly Hills, California.
