Committee Recommends Tossing Take-Two Claims

Law360, New York (September 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A committee appointed to review the allegations made in the derivative litigation filed against the directors of software maker Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. has recommended that the judge dismiss the bulk of the claims, after finding that they are not in the best interests of shareholders.

In a memorandum filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the special litigation committee said that “based upon its review, the committee has determined and recommends that claims against 19 of the defendants...
