Ex-AIG Head To Collaborate In SEC Reinsurance Probe

Law360 (September 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former American International Group Inc. chairman Maurice “Hank” Greenberg has reportedly agreed to testify before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as part of the commission's long-running investigation into his former company's shady finite-reinsurance deals.

Greenberg agreed to testify later this month after receiving a subpoena from the SEC, David Boies of Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP told Dow Jones News. The testimony will be connected to the agency's industry-wide probe into allegedly sham finite insurance and reinsurance transactions.
