Title VII Protects Nursing Moms, Doctors Tell 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (May 30, 2012, 7:26 PM EDT) -- A pair of professional associations for Texas doctors on Tuesday urged the Fifth Circuit to reject a judge's reasoning that pregnancy-related medical conditions end with childbirth and overturn a ruling that Title VII does not protect women from being fired for lactation and breast pumping.
