Miss. Drops Engineers' Charges Over Eaton Trade-Secret Theft

Law360, New York (May 30, 2012, 10:38 PM EDT) -- Mississippi prosecutors on Wednesday dropped charges against five engineers at aerospace systems manufacturing firm Triumph Inc., ending the criminal case against the engineers for allegedly stealing trade secrets from their former employer, power management company Eaton Corp.

The criminal case was dismissed from Mississippi federal court after U.S. Attorney Greg Davis dropped the indictments that had accused the engineers of trade secret misappropriation, conspiracy to misappropriate trade secrets and mail and wire fraud, Triumph said in a statement Wednesday.
