Nebraska Book Turns Final Page On Ch. 11 Case

Law360, Wilmington (May 30, 2012, 10:09 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge signed off on Nebraska Book Co.'s reorganization plan Wednesday, providing an upbeat ending to what had become an unexpectedly dark Chapter 11 saga for the college bookseller.

Nebraska Book entered bankruptcy protection in June 2011 with an agreement in place and expected a quick trip through the Chapter 11 process.

A dismal fall rush ended its chances of securing the $250 million of exit financing underpinning the first plan, however, and the Lincoln, Neb.-based bookseller had to return to the negotiating table...
