GSK Says La. Can't Use Outside Attys In $12B Avandia Suit

Law360, New York (May 31, 2012, 4:30 PM EDT) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC urged a Louisiana state court on Thursday to bar the state's attorney general from using private attorneys to pursue a $12 billion Medicaid fraud suit over the safety risks of diabetes treatment Avandia, saying it violates the drugmaker's constitutional right to due process.
