Jury Convicts Grant Manager Of Helping Steal FEMA Funds

Law360, New York (June 1, 2012, 3:56 PM EDT) -- An Alabama federal jury on Thursday convicted a grant administrator of conspiring with the mayor of an Alabama town to misappropriate funds from a $15.7 million Federal Emergency Management Agency payout meant to provide housing for Hurricane Katrina victims, and of mismanaging another grant.
