ITC To Weigh Nokia's Phone, Tablet IP Claims Against HTC

Law360, New York (June 4, 2012, 2:25 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission will examine Nokia Corp.'s allegations that HTC Corp. is importing into the U.S. mobile phones and tablet computers that infringe a plethora of Nokia patents, the agency announced on Sunday.

The ITC said that it was taking up the Finnish electronics maker's case against HTC in response to Nokia's allegations last month that the Taiwanese company is importing a range of electronic devices that crib from Nokia's patent portfolio.
