JetBlue Fired Worker To Ground Union Activity: Suit

Law360, New York (September 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former flight attendant at JetBlue Airways Corp. who was purportedly fired for cursing at a passenger has filed a lawsuit claiming she was really terminated for leading efforts to unionize the airline's workers.

Mala Amarsingh filed the suit in a New York federal court on Tuesday asserting that she was terminated for actively trying to have JetBlue flight attendants join the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA.
