Law360, New York (June 6, 2012, 4:03 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Labor's plan to require journalists to use government-issued computers when reporting economic data would undermine the First Amendment and mark a technological step backward, news executives told Congress on Wednesday — but media organizations and the DOL are working on a compromise.
