Enviros Rip Entergy's Fish Worries In Blackstone Project Feud

Law360, New York (June 5, 2012, 6:10 PM EDT) -- Riverkeeper Inc., a foe of Entergy Corp.'s Indian Point nuclear facility, told regulators Tuesday that Entergy's new concerns over endangered Hudson River sturgeon are a weak attempt to block The Blackstone Group LP's planned Quebec-to-New York underwater power line.

Riverkeeper, which sees hydroelectric projects such as Blackstone's 1,000-megawatt Champlain Hudson Power Express as a better solution than nuclear power to meet New York's energy needs, has come out swinging against those trying to stop the proposed 330-mile cable project from being built.
