Inventor Settles Bra Patent Suit With Victoria's Secret

Law360, New York (June 5, 2012, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The inventor of an adjustable bra has settled her suit alleging Victoria's Secret Stores Brand Management Inc. copied her idea after she had approached the chain with it, infringing her patent with its Victoria's Secret Very Sexy 100-Way Strapless Convertible Bra, attorneys confirmed Tuesday.

Inventor Katerina Plew, Victoria's Secret and parent company Limited Brands Inc. entered into a confidential settlement agreement, putting an end to litigation that has stretched on for over four years just before the case was set to go to trial.
