Energy Co. Asks 9th Circ. To Back $1B Plant's Emissions Swap

Law360, Los Angeles (June 5, 2012, 9:16 PM EDT) -- Energy company CPV Sentinel LLC urged a Ninth Circuit panel Tuesday to uphold an Environmental Protection Agency decision approving a local air quality agency’s transfer of emissions credits to a new $1 billion power plant, saying approval is vital to meeting California’s energy needs.
