Former UBS Exec Files Age Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (September 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former chief of UBS Securities LLC's municipal bond department has sued his former employer alleging age discrimination, claiming that he was improperly pushed out of his position because of his age.

In a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, William J. Jester, 60, alleged that the financial services firm removed him from his position, replaced him with a younger man and later essentially forced him to retire.
