Pennzoil, NAPA, Big Lots Face Carcinogen Exposure Suit

Law360, New York (June 8, 2012, 7:28 PM EDT) -- A consumer protection group on Thursday hit Pennzoil-Quaker State Co., National Automotive Parts Association and Big Lots Stores Inc. with a toxic tort suit accusing the companies of illegally selling products containing a known carcinogen to California residents.

Consumer Advocacy Group Inc. is claiming that the three auto products manufacturers and retailers have violated state law by manufacturing, distributing or selling steering wheel covers, seat belt pads and CD organizers containing diethylhexyl phthalate.
