SanDisk Reveals Subpoenas Over Antitrust Allegations

Law360, New York (September 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Flash memory maker SanDisk Corp. revealed Friday that the company and its chief executive officer had received grand jury subpoenas, indicating a possible Department of Justice investigation into antitrust violations.

In a filling with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, SanDisk said that the subpoenas, both for the company and its founder, chairman and CEO Eli Harari, were issued from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and relate to alleged anti-competitive conduct in the NAND flash memory industry.
