Supreme Court Refuses Firefighter Discrimination Appeals

Law360, New York (June 11, 2012, 3:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to consider a pair of appeals lodged separately by a New Jersey fire department and the city of New Haven, Conn., in which the petitioners had each claimed protection from discrimination claims under the court's 2009 ruling in Ricci v. DeStefano.
