Holder May Face Contempt Charges From House Committee

Law360, New York (June 11, 2012, 1:22 PM EDT) -- A U.S. House of Representatives committee said Monday that it will hold a hearing next week to decide whether to hold U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for not handing over documents about a controversial gun trafficking investigation.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hold a hearing on June 20 over the attorney general's alleged failures to respond to a Oct. 12 subpoena about the program, known as "Fast and Furious."
