Akin Gump Brushes Off Atty's $100M Defamation Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (June 13, 2012, 8:16 PM EDT) -- A California judge Wednesday threw out a $120 million defamation suit against Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, barring allegations it libeled U.S. Aerospace Inc.’s general counsel when it warned he had arranged an improper $2.3 million settlement and breached other fiduciary duties to the company.
