Another Stand 'N Seal MDL Defendant Denies Liability

Law360, New York (September 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A company that supplied the chemical component in the controversial product Stand 'N Seal has taken issue with plaintiffs for ensnaring it in the multidistrict litigation, saying it neither made, nor distributed the product.

In filing an answer to the consumers' second amended complaint Friday, Ortec Inc. joined other defendants in denying any culpability for the injuries alleged by users of the recalled grout sealant.
