Facebook Author Rips Judge For Citing Wiki in Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (June 14, 2012, 7:14 PM EDT) -- A former classmate of Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday asked the First Circuit to revive his lawsuit accusing author Ben Mezrich of stealing material for his best-seller about the tumultuous start of Facebook Inc., blasting a lower court judge for citing WikiAnswers in tossing his case.

Aaron Greenspan told the appeals court that U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert B. Collings had abused his discretion in tossing the suit, which claimed Mezrich's 2009 "The Accidental Billionaires" — later adapted into the Oscar-winning film "The Social Network" — borrowed heavily...
