Online Posts Shouldn't Sink Katrina Scam Case, Feds Say

Law360, New York (June 15, 2012, 4:21 PM EDT) -- Louisiana federal prosecutors in a criminal case alleging a contractor stole grants aimed at supporting home remediation work after Hurricane Katrina said Wednesday that his claims that a former prosecutor slimed him in anonymous online comments are merely speculative and don't warrant the case's dismissal.
