Judge Denies Quest Workers Class Cert. In FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (June 15, 2012, 5:28 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Thursday denied class certification to a group of phlebotomists accusing employer Quest Diagnostics Inc. of withholding overtime wages, ruling the plaintiffs provided no details to demonstrate how they were similarly situated.

Plaintiff Deanna Holmes sued Quest in May 2011, alleging the company failed to pay overtime wages on several occasions between May 2008 and February 2009.
