Kappos Sounds Alarm On Essential Patent Injunctions

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 4:33 PM EDT) -- David Kappos, director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, told a Senate panel Wednesday that he is concerned allowing companies to secure injunctions and import bans on standard-essential patents could have "tremendously negative effects."
