Chip Makers Want To Limit Rambus' Patent Claims

Law360, New York (September 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of chip manufacturers has asked a federal court to rely on a landmark Federal Circuit decision when adopting claim constructions in Rambus Inc.’s patent infringement suit over memory technology.

Hynix Semiconductor Inc. and the other defendants in the case urged the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday to apply Phillips v.
