Banks Press CFPB To Delay Mortgage Disclosure Changes

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 7:46 PM EDT) -- Banking and real estate industry representatives told a congressional panel Wednesday that if the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau does not delay changes to mortgage disclosure forms until it has wrapped up other mandated changes to mortgage origination, it risks creating chaos in the slowly recovering real estate market.
