Ecuador Claims Chevron Can't Pursue Claims

Law360 (September 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ecuador has asked a federal court judge to toss its lawsuit against ChevronTexaco Corp., arguing that since the oil giant is barred from taking the country and its state-owned petrol company to arbitration, the judge no longer has jurisdiction in the case.
