AIG Sued For Allegedly Misclassifying Employees

Law360, New York (September 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Insurance giant American International Group Inc. has been slapped with a collective action by two of its employees, who allege that they and other office workers were misclassified as exempt from federal overtime pay requirements.

“AIG appears to have knowingly and willfully denied plaintiffs and their colleagues overtime pay for no other reason than to improve its bottom line,” says David J.
