Enviro Regs Can Be Based On Future Technology: Calif. Court

Law360, New York (June 25, 2012, 7:39 PM EDT) -- State environmental regulators can base emission reduction goals on pollution control technology expected to be available in the future, the California Supreme Court ruled Monday, rejecting arguments from an industry group that the technology needed to be available at the time the rules were written.
