SAIC Protests Loss Of $4.6B Defense Computing Contract

Law360, New York (June 25, 2012, 6:21 PM EDT) -- SAIC Inc. protested its loss of a Defense Information Systems Agency contract worth up to $4.6 billion Friday, just one week after Verizon Communications Inc. protested a separate $750 million DISA contract to upgrade the Pentagon's supercomputers.

DISA chose Lockheed Martin Corp. to transform the U.S. Department of Defense's Global Information Grid on June 15, ousting SAIC from what had been its largest government contract.
