Sebelius Says Medicaid Copay Class Is Punishing Good Deeds

Law360, Washington (June 26, 2012, 12:37 PM EDT) -- U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Monday asked an Arizona federal judge to toss claims against her in a putative 123,000-member class action over higher Medicaid copayments, saying the case is punishing her and Medicaid for trying to expand coverage.
