Texas Atty Convicted Of Bribing Judge Seeks Acquittal

Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 10:06 PM EDT) -- A Texas personal injury lawyer who was convicted of paying more than $11,000 in bribes to a former state judge to obtain decisions in his favor on Tuesday sought acquittal on charges he claimed came from a legally insufficient indictment that had accused him of extorting himself.
