Hitachi Sues Taiwanese Monitor Makers In U.S. Court

Law360, New York (June 9, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Japanese electronics maker Hitachi Ltd. has filed a lawsuit in a California federal court against three Taiwanese monitor makers for alleged patent infringement.

The complaint, filed Monday in the Northern District of California, names as defendants Amtran Technology Co. Ltd., Proview Electronics Co. Ltd. and Tatung Co. as well as their affiliates Proview Electronics International Holdings Ltd., Proview Technology Inc. and Tatung Co. of America Inc.
