Judge Approves Buffets Restaurants' Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, Wilmington (June 27, 2012, 8:21 PM EDT) -- Buffets Restaurants Holdings Inc. is set to finish its second helping of bankruptcy after a Delaware judge confirmed a Chapter 11 plan Wednesday that will transfer all the equity in the reorganized chain to its senior lenders.

Minnesota-based Buffets — owner of nearly 500 buffet-style restaurants, including the Old Country Buffet chain — entered court protection in January with a prepackaged plan, less than three years after exiting a previous trip through bankruptcy.
