Facebook Email Shift 'Tricked' Users, EPIC Tells FTC

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 8:47 PM EDT) -- The Electronic Privacy Information Center urged the Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday to look into Facebook Inc.'s decision to display Facebook-assigned email addresses for users, claiming the company “tricked” users and calling the contention that the move didn't have privacy implications “nonsensical.”
