Medical Liability Act Applies To Employees: Texas High Court

Law360, New York (July 2, 2012, 2:44 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday ruled that a procedural requirement of the Texas Medical Liability Act applies to employees and other third parties suing health care providers, who now must file “expert reports” when the basis of the suit is hospital safety or standards of care.
