Calif. Makes Another Attempt At Reining In Wildfire Damages

Jerry Brown seeks to limit the amount of damages federal and California agencies can seek when timber companies and large landowners are found liable for wildfires, in a draft bill written at his direction Monday after an initial proposal stalled.
