Calif. Lawmakers Push $11B Water Bond Ballot Vote To 2014

Law360, New York (July 5, 2012, 11:10 PM EDT) -- Both houses of the California legislature on Thursday overwhelmingly voted to postpone until 2014 a ballot measure for an $11 billion bond to fund water projects, with a large number of lawmakers agreeing that the bond is needed but presently unfit to go before voters.
