Calif. Ruffles Bird Farmers' Feathers With Foie Gras Ban

Law360, New York (July 5, 2012, 11:01 PM EDT) -- A California-based restaurant group and foie gras producers in Canada and New York on Monday argued that California’s ban on the sale of products from the forced feeding of birds — a vital process in making the French delicacy — is unconstitutional because it violates the commerce clause by harming international trade.
