Museums, Drugstores Join Call To Nix First-Sale Ruling

Law360, New York (July 10, 2012, 5:53 PM EDT) -- Major museums and a group of retailers on Monday urged the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a lower court's ruling the first-sale copyright law doctrine doesn't apply to works manufactured outside the U.S., which they claim would disrupt the U.S. market for both art and consumer goods.
