Contractor Cops To Rigging Bids For NYC Hospital

Law360, New York (July 11, 2012, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The owner of a former New York City insulation service company pled guilty Wednesday to participating in a bid-rigging conspiracy at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

David Porath, a one-time resident of Israel, pled guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence M. McKenna, to a three-count indictment charging him with conspiracy to rig bids, conspiring to defraud the Internal Revenue Service and filing a false tax return.
