UniRAM Wins $30.5M Award In Trade Secrets Suit

Law360 (September 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court has come down against Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in a ruling that affirms a jury’s verdict that TSMC must shell out $30.5 million for allegedly misappropriating UniRAM Technology Inc.’s trade secrets related to specialized computer memory devices.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California entered judgment in favor of UniRAM on Tuesday when the jury reached its verdict following a two-week trial.
